Editorial Intern

Unpaid Position
Remote
5-8 hours/week

Gain hands-on experience in legal journalism by researching and writing articles on current legal developments. Open to high school and college students passionate about law and writing.

Responsibilities

  • Research and write articles on current legal topics and developments
  • Cover areas including corporate law, technology, civil rights, and policy
  • Assist with editing and fact-checking articles for publication
  • Conduct interviews with legal professionals when appropriate
  • Contribute to newsletter and social media content
  • Participate in editorial meetings and brainstorming sessions

Qualifications

  • High school student (junior/senior) or college student
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Interest in law, journalism, or public policy
  • Ability to research and synthesize complex information
  • Self-motivated with strong time management skills
  • Commitment of at least one semester (3-4 months)
