My Choice, Not Yours

The rights to abortion is something that has always been questioned by the people we share earth with. We live in a day and time when the rights to abortion are no longer exist, and the rights that do exist, are slowly declining. Roe vs. Wade was a Supreme Court case that occurred on January 22nd,1973. This case

consist of the idea of whether or not women should have the right to have abortions. It was a landmark decision that made way to give women the right to have abortions. This is not only a battle that we may have to fight alone, but it might be a battle we cannot fight at all, unless we are superior to those around us, for example those who rule in congress.

Our bodies are delicate, and not all bodies fully developed enough or prone to hold a baby, nor give birth to one. Minors, who are under the age of consent, are still growing, and to grow something else inside of you can be painful and irreversible, and the government is holding back an opportunity, and instead is implementing an idea onto those who can get pregnant, which is demolishing the right to abort whether or not the child had been raped, or impregnated by family. A minor's body is not physically developed before the age of 18, and there is still more room to grow after they come of age, which means a child is being held by another child. Growing a baby is painful, and comes with many medical side effects that any young female may not be able to handle.

With Roe V. Wade, many more cases are released into the news, being found to also include the idea of being able to get an abortion if needed. We must ask, what happened after this? In June of 2022, the Supreme Court divided the world by overturning Roe V. Wade, known to provide a safety block for women. This decision has physically put the world back 50 years in time. Due to Roe falling, the choice to abortion is now up to every state individually. I do not condone actions of people, inhumane people, that harm the lives of others. I am an avid supporter of anyone that is able to get pregnant, to have access to an abortion if they need it. I am in extreme disagreement with the state of the world we live in, I do not envision this as political, I believe this is destructive of human kind.
